d'awww..
I had fun writing for CommonWealth, you know. Of course, I think I took up too much of my time for it. ( Rushed it finish in one day, excluding editting, 3.30pm-10.30pm straight. D: ) I think there's still room for improvement. Who knows, if its good enough, I might post it up here. ( it is a tad long though. twentysevenhundred words. )
T1W4
scurry, lethal, mammoth, havoc, valor
The mammoth sized peach hung scantily to the branch of the equally humongous tree that loomed over the Lilliputian town of people.
Without so much as a simple warning, the tranquility of the whole environment vanished when the stalk of the giant peach snapped off contact with the sprig of the tree and began its descend towards the community of people located at the foot of the hill. Though is rolled like a steam train, it seemed to lumber down the steep hill at the same time, the movement of the enormous fruit caused an echo of sounds to resound throughout the entire valley.
Down below, frantic townsfolk scurried around like mice, deducing that a collision with the peach would be extremely lethal. Havoc seemed to blanket the town, at the people ran for cover, hands flailing wildly at their sides as they hollered for umbrellas, rooftops - anything that would be able to withstand the blow of the sizable fruit.
At its wake, the peach omitted a fruity, fragrant smell, that no matter how refreshingly smelling, would be the stench of death for all in but a few moments time. The fruit's proximity was uncomfortably near to the town, and only panic separated the crowd from an eternity of frozen stiffness.
Among the sea of frightened people, a man of valor emerged gallantly, clenching a blender in his hand.
"Something give me an electrical outlet,"he calmly said.
"We're going to juice this thing. "

You've got a wonderful story for the Commonwealth competition.
After the competition, you may consider posting the story up in parts.
Great job.
