T1W10

disparate, sultry, repose, reviled, lugubrious

It was a sultry day, with a sweltering Sun shining brightly overheard the small group of young travellers who trudged through the golden sands of the desert. Only one lucky individual rode atop a majestice camel, while the rest of her crew walking with blazing feet.

She sighed lugubriously, her strawberry blonde hair flowing as a gust of wind blew past the group. What a disparate batch of escorts, she thought secretly to herself, sneaking a glance at the stately man leading the formation. He wore a pair of thick goggles to protect his emerald eyes from the upcoming winds, and a long brown cloak that seemed a few sizes too big for his stature. His face was home to a few scars, most of which, were permanent. The most striking of all was the long, thin gash that started from the bottom of his left eye and snaked all the way down to the tip of his sharp chin. His beaten and ravaged look betrayed him, for deep down, the princess knew he was a caring, warm-hearted person.

"D**n! When in hell's name will we be seeing that town!"the leader suddenly reviled, many of the others who had lined up behind him sounding their agreement.

"Hey... yeah! Where the hell are we?"

"YEAH! Who told us to come down this way?"

"Who? WHO?"

"Oh please, will you barbarians be quiet!"the princess raised her voice haughtily, folding her arms across her chest with irritance. The previous repose had since vanished, much to her disapproval.

"We'll get there when we get there! Now just concentrate on staying uncooked!"
